Song Appreciation: Nothing Special – Local H

Great intro, great song, great break and full of the amazing energy that we came to expect from Local H. Nothing Special is right there (omfg it’s from 1996) in the spirit of the 90’s and feeling like the epitome of grunge in an era where that word was thrown around ad nauseum. However, Local H. always stayed true to themselves and have so many kick ass songs and covers (Everyone Alive and Smothered in Hugs come to mind) and man, I wish I had a chance to see them, although there’s still a chance since they’re currently on tour supporting their 2015 album Hey Killer and with a brand new drummer (Ryan Harding) to boot.
